Doctors Hirant and Nihal Bicakci have been involved in dentistry for more than 20 years and practicing more than 15 years. They both received their Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Strong believers in continuing education, Drs. Nihal and Hirant Bicakci both completed their post-graduate dental program, a three-year specialty program in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implantology “Surgical and Prosthetic Treatment” at UIC College of Dentistry. Dr. Nihal Bicakci has taught at UIC as a Clinical Instructor at the Restorative Department of UIC College of Dentistry. She has presented at the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontic Meeting. Dr. Bicakci is also one of the reviewers for Journal of Prosthodontics. Dr. Nihal Bicakci believes in sharing and she has travelled to The Gambia, West Africa in December 2017 to provide dental services for people who are in need. Drs Nihal and Hirant Bicakci have been active members of American College of Prosthodontics and American Prosthodontics Society. They have been recently elected as members of American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and joined several continuing education meetings and conferences in Prosthodontics, Digital Dentistry, Dental Implantology nationwide and worldwide. Drs. Nihal and Hirant have been married for 19 years. They have been living in Chicago for more than 17 years with their two young children, a dog and a cat. During their spare time and kids’ school breaks they enjoy spending time with their family and travel other US cities and the world.
